How Breezy uses cookies and similar technologies.Last updated October 28, 2026

This page explains how Breezy uses cookies and similar technologies on mybreezy.app and in the Breezy app. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser so it can remember things, like the fact that you’re signed in. Websites can also save information in your browser’s local or session storage, which works in a similar way. On this page, we call all of these “cookies.”

How we use them

  • Essential. These keep you signed in, keep your account secure, and help prevent fraud. Breezy can’t work properly without them. On our website, one essential cookie remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, for 6 months.
  • Preferences. These remember choices you make on our website, such as which version of the site you’re viewing, and save what you’ve typed into a form so you don’t lose it if you leave the page. This information is cleared when you close the tab.
  • Analytics (only with your permission). We use PostHog to understand how people use our website, such as which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked. On our get-started form, we also send progress and completion events that can include what you entered in the form so we can see where people stop before finishing. Until you choose Accept in our cookie banner, PostHog runs without cookies and only counts anonymous page visits. If you accept, PostHog stores a random identifier in a cookie and your browser storage so we can see how visits connect over time, automatically records clicks and similar interactions on our pages, and may record session replays (a playback of how you move through the site, not your camera or microphone).

Cookies from other companies

Some features are provided by other companies. When you use them, those companies may set their own cookies, which are covered by their own policies:

What we don’t use

We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don’t sell or share your information for advertising. Analytics data is processed by PostHog in the United States on our behalf and isn’t used to advertise to you.

Your choices

  • Cookie banner. Choose Accept or Decline when you first visit. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you clear your cookies, or after 6 months, we’ll ask again.
  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block essential cookies, you may not be able to sign in or use parts of Breezy.
  • Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and as declining analytics cookies. We don’t sell or share it today, but we’ll keep honoring the signal.

Questions
