These Referral Commission Terms (“Referral Terms”) apply when you opt in to the Breezy referral program operated by BURNING BUSH SOFTWARE CORPORATION (“we”, “us”). They supplement our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict on referral commissions, these Referral Terms control for that topic. The referral program is part of how we engage with prospective customers: you can opt in through any of our sales channels, such as the Get started form on our website or by telling a member of our sales team that you’d like to take part.
Eligibility
You may earn a referral commission only if you are an individual acting in good faith, opt in to the referral program through one of our sales channels, and provide accurate contact details for yourself and for the approver or buyer you are introducing. We may decline or revoke eligibility if we reasonably believe the referral is fraudulent, self-referred, abusive, or otherwise inconsistent with these Referral Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
Commission
Subject to these Referral Terms, you’ll earn a commission on the first month payment upon the signing and successful payment of your referral. The commission is calculated only on the first month of paid subscription fees actually received by us for the referred organization’s qualifying Breezy plan. Taxes, credits, refunds, chargebacks, onboarding fees, add-ons, and amounts not successfully collected do not count toward the commission base.
When a referral qualifies
A referral qualifies only when all of the following are true:
- You opted in to the referral program before or when you introduced the referred party, and the referral is recorded against you in our systems.
- The referred organization signs the applicable order or agreement for a paid Breezy plan.
- We successfully receive the first month payment for that plan without reversal.
- The referred organization is not an existing paying customer of Breezy at the time of the referral.
How referrals are recorded
When you opt in, we record the referral against the name and email address you gave us, together with the approver or buyer you introduced. Referrals are personal and non-transferable. Opting in does not guarantee a commission. You are responsible for introducing only people who have agreed to be contacted about Breezy. If you introduce someone through more than one channel, we credit a single referral.
Payment of commissions
If a referral qualifies, we will pay the commission to you using the payment method and timing we communicate at payout (for example, after a reasonable verification period following successful first-month payment). We may require tax or identity information before paying. We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete details, bank issues, or payment-provider requirements.
Changes, suspension, and termination
We may modify, suspend, or end the referral program or these Referral Terms at any time. Changes apply prospectively to referrals that have not yet qualified. We may withhold or claw back a commission if payment is refunded, charged back, or if we determine the referral violated these Referral Terms.
No agency
Participating in the referral program does not make you our employee, partner, or agent. You may not bind BURNING BUSH SOFTWARE CORPORATION or make promises about pricing, features, or legal terms beyond what we publish.
Governing law
These Referral Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, consistent with our Terms of Service.
